General Specification

The intradyne receiver schematic diagram is shown in figure 1. This receiver consists of two 90° optical hybrids and optical detection circuit consisting of PIN photodiodes and TIA amplifiers. The signal input port is SMF pigtail and the LO input ports is PMF pigtail. The balanced detection is achieved using photodiodes and non-inverting differential TIAs with integrated variable gain stages. A total of 8 photo diodes and 4 TIAs are used for the design.
